Not one to shirk at the potential for a bit of self-promotion, actor Tyrese Gibson posted a picture of himself with Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg on his Twitter feed "@Tyrese4ReaL" with the proclamation:

"TRANSFORMERS 3: Is Full THrottle Full Steam Ahead..... Michael Bay gave me the start date.. And I can't share.."

One would assume that being given a start date means Tyrese's character Master Sergeant Epps will be returning for the yet-to-be-titled Transformers 3, scheduled for July 1, 2011, and that he's just not being invited to perform at the start-of-production party. Neither would be too surprising, but we're figuring on the former.
